About us

Masikhulume Consulting Services was established and registered in November 2003 as a Close Corporation. Our name is a Zulu phrase, if translated into English it means: “Let us talk”.

Our aim is to provide a problem-solving advisory service to all levels of management within government and other public-sector institutions in order to raise productivity, cost-effectiveness, quality and efficiency. We believe that by improving business performance we can enhance the living standards of the nation. We are there to assist organisations to be as effective as possible and to support them in pursuance of the “Batho Pele” principles of the South African Public Service.

Our members work in many different fields investigating, advising and carrying out solutions to organisational problems. They are consulted on problems of resource allocation and utilisation and measure the effectiveness of organisations, systems, methods and procedures.

We observe the “Code of Excellence” as laid down by the Southern Africa Institute of Management Services (SAIMAS), an Institute affiliated to the Institute for Management Services (IMS) in the United Kingdom. We encourage our members to become members of SAIMAS, because we believe that this is a non-profit, non-political professional body committed to the efficient application of resources and creating quality of working life.
